Description
The Garmin inReach Mini 3 is a compact satellite communicator designed to provide messaging, location sharing and interactive SOS functionality when travelling beyond conventional mobile coverage. Using the global Iridium satellite network with an active inReach subscription, it can exchange text messages and transmit location information from remote areas. Interactive SOS messages can also be sent with GPS coordinates to Garmin Response, Garmin's 24/7-staffed international emergency coordination centre.
A 1.9-inch colour touchscreen allows messages to be entered directly on the device, while compatibility with the Garmin Messenger and Garmin Explore smartphone apps expands messaging, trip planning and navigation functionality. Built-in GPS, multi-band positioning, a digital compass, TracBack routing and LiveTrack make the Mini 3 a versatile companion for hiking, expeditions, boating, travel and other remote outdoor activities.

Important: Satellite communication performance requires an appropriate satellite view and can be affected by terrain, buildings, vegetation and other environmental conditions. The inReach Mini 3 should complement appropriate navigation, communication and emergency planning rather than replace suitable preparation and backup equipment for the activity.
